Helping to transform lives one charity at a time.
One year after we sat down with Fundación Mas Humanidad and did a recount on everything they were up to since we finalize the fundraising for them in El Charity Edition 2024.
Más Humanidad Foundation works with a single goal in mind: to eradicate extreme poverty in Argentina by addressing child malnutrition and providing tools for the comprehensive development of families. With four centers in the province of Buenos Aires, its impact reaches more than 700 people, including 232 children under the age of five. Its work is structured around four key pillars: Child Health and Malnutrition, Education, Job Training, and Housing Improvement.
Our Support for Fundación Más Humanidad
Thanks to an international call for proposals, Más Humanidad Fundation was selected as a beneficiary of the 2024 Charity Tournament organized by Argentina FC in England, aimed at supporting social causes in Argentina. This opportunity gave the foundation access to essential funds to improve its facilities and continue strengthening its impact on the community.
On July 15, during the event in London, the foundation had the chance to share its mission and work with attendees. We are deeply grateful to know that their efforts transcend borders and that so many people are joining their cause with commitment and solidarity.
Tangible Achievements: Facility Improvements
Thanks to the total amount raised at the event—£9,800— Más Humanidad Fundation was able to carry out key improvements at its centers:
Education: Heating and cooling systems were installed in the Montessori room at the CONIN Costilla center in Rincón de Milberg, creating a more comfortable environment for children aged 3 to 5. In addition, air conditioning units were installed in primary and secondary classrooms, encouraging school attendance and retention.
Job Training: At the CONIN Rincón center, the kitchen was renovated with new countertops, a sink, and a water heater. This space is essential for cooking and nutrition training, where mothers learn to prepare healthy meals for their families.
Infrastructure Improvement: A water heater and extractor fan were installed in the kitchen at the CONIN Lima center in Zárate, enhancing the development of food preparation workshops.
The Impact of These Improvements on the Community
These upgrades have brought about significant changes in the quality of life for many families. In education, climate-controlled classrooms have encouraged greater attendance and enrollment in adult education programs. In job training, the renovated kitchens have allowed more women to access quality training, promoting self-employment and entrepreneurship.
Each action taken not only improves the present for these communities, but also builds a future with greater opportunities.
At Argentina FC, we sincerely thank everyone who made this progress possible. With every act of solidarity, we reaffirm our belief that a fairer, more humane country is within reach.
